Subang Jaya, 2 September 2020 – Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and giving back to the community lie at the heart of Da Men USJ’s activities. To cultivate an interest in reading and knowledge, the mall invited over 100 kids aged 7 – 17 years old from the B40 community in Subang to experience a day at the mall as part of its ‘Gift A Book’ initiative.
Each Saturday, between 8 – 22 August, kids and teens from Pangsapuri Angsana, Pangsapuri Sri Tanjung, Rumah Kids Orphanage and Ractar Orphanage were treated to fun-filled weekends at Da Men USJ. They participated in clay art workshops by Global Art, enjoyed local treats from ‘A Taste of Malaysia’ fair, received educational books from the BookXcess fair and savoured RM1 Grandmama’s traditional recipe Nasi Lemak at Food Arcade, LG Floor. The kids enjoyed their visit to Da Men USJ and left with smiles from a fun-filled day out.
